About Myto and these terms

Myto is an AI fitness companion that works inside WhatsApp. It keeps your training plan, records what you did, and suggests adjustments when your week changes. Myto is operated by Myto Intelligence Labs Private Limited, a company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013 (“Myto”, “we”, “us”).

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the Myto service on WhatsApp, the Myto web view and this website (https://myto.health), together the “Service”. By messaging Myto or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

Eligibility

To use Myto you must:

  • be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under Indian law;
  • have a WhatsApp account in your own name and comply with WhatsApp’s terms;
  • give accurate information about yourself, especially about injuries or health conditions relevant to training.

Using Myto on WhatsApp

Your Myto account is linked to your WhatsApp phone number. Anyone with access to your WhatsApp can see your conversation with Myto, so keep your phone and WhatsApp secure. If you change your number or lose access to it, tell us so we can protect your history.

Myto relies on WhatsApp, which is provided by Meta under its own terms. We are not responsible for WhatsApp outages, message delays or changes Meta makes to its platform.

Health and safety

Myto provides general fitness information, not medical advice. It is not a doctor, physiotherapist or other healthcare professional and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.

  • Talk to a doctor before starting or changing a training programme, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, an injury, or have been inactive.
  • Stop exercising and seek professional help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort or shortness of breath. In an emergency in India, call 112.
  • Use proper technique, suitable equipment and a spotter where appropriate. You decide what loads and exercises are safe for you.

Physical exercise carries an inherent risk of injury. You train at your own risk.

AI-generated guidance

Myto’s replies, plans and adjustments are generated with the help of artificial intelligence. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they depend on the information you give. Every change comes with a reason so you can judge it: if a suggestion doesn’t look right for you, don’t follow it, and tell Myto. If you train with a coach, their plan and instructions take priority over Myto’s suggestions.

Pricing during beta

Myto is free during beta. We don’t ask for payment details. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance, publish the prices, and you will only be charged if you choose a paid plan. Any payment, cancellation and refund terms will be added to these Terms before then.

Beta service and availability

Myto is in beta. Features may change, be added or be withdrawn, and the Service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We will try to give notice of significant changes but don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Your content

You own what you send Myto: your messages, plans, logs and files (“Your Content”). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process and display Your Content only to provide, secure and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. This licence ends when Your Content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law.

If you share a plan written by a coach or another app, make sure you’re allowed to. The plan’s author keeps their rights in it; Myto uses it only to support your training.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful or fraudulent;
  • send content that infringes someone else’s rights, or that is abusive, obscene or hateful;
  • impersonate anyone or use the Service on behalf of someone else without permission;
  • send spam, malware or automated messages, or try to overload or disrupt the Service;
  • probe, scrape, reverse engineer or attempt to bypass any security or usage limits of the Service;
  • use the Service, or its outputs, to build a competing product.

Intellectual property

The Service, including the Myto name, logo, software, design and content we create, belongs to Myto Intelligence Labs Private Limited or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own training. You may keep and use the plans and replies Myto gives you for your personal use.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how AI providers process it, and how to access, correct, export or delete it.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI-generated content, or that the Service will help you reach a particular result.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Myto is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you have paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

Indemnity

You agree to compensate Myto for reasonable losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service, including claims by third parties about content you shared.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Myto at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or if we must for legal reasons; where reasonable, we will tell you why. If we shut down the Service, we will give you notice and a chance to export your training history.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as Myto changes or the law requires. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, tell you on WhatsApp before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.

Grievances and contact

For support, message Myto on WhatsApp or email pushp@myto.health. Complaints about the Service or content on it can be sent to our grievance officer, who will acknowledge them within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
